Environment

The identification of environmental aspects serves to determine the actual or potential and direct or indirect impact on the environment of Consultrans activities, products and services, including:

  • Air pollution
  • Water pollution
  • Ground pollution
  • Use of raw materials and natural resources
  • Use of Energy
  • Energy emissions for example heat, radiation, vibration and noise
  • Waste and By-products
  • Physical properties, such as size and shape

Environmental aspects should be evaluated in order to rank and determine which ones are significant and controllable and so as to establish priority control and tracking of these aspects. These controls are aimed at reducing the degree of severity that such aspects may represent. The identification and assessment of environmental aspects is the fundamental reference for the establishment of objectives, targets and environmental programs.
