Consultrans begins to work on the study for the rehabilitation of the Douala – Yaoundé railway line in Cameroon, which is 263 km long and operated by the concessionaire Camrail.
As part of this study, a first feasibility phase will be carried out, focusing mainly on demand and economic-financial studies, to continue in a second phase with the development of preliminary engineering for the complete infrastructure, facilities, workshops and rolling stock. The studies will be closed in their final phase with the social and environmental impact assessment.
This project has been financed by the World Bank for the Ministry of Transport of Cameroon and Camrail, the current concessionaire.
